Economics Challenge Final Results

The state final competition was held on the UNI campus 4/2/09 with eight teams competing in 2 divisions (below). After a busy morning answering questions on Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and International Economics, the Iowa City High 1 battled the Hempstead Alpha team for first place in the Adam Smith Division and the Xavier 1 and 2 teams vied for first place in the David Ricardo Division. Both matches were extremely competitive and the students did a great job with Iowa City High 1 and Xavier 1 emerging as winners.

Everybody had a great time and it was a good day. Good luck in the regionals!
