2013 US student timeline
Spring Semester
November 1, 2012- Application Deadline
December 15, 2012- Notification of Acceptance
January 15, 2013- passport and visa materials required this includes the criminal record required for student visas in Brazil
January 14 to February 28- Mandatory Portuguese language course- 2 sessions per week
March 1, Arrive in Brazil, Begin Portuguese Immersion program
Early April- Semester begins and so does the work!
August- Return home
Fall Semester
January 30, 2013- Application Deadline
February 15, 2013- Notification of Acceptance

March 25 to May 2- Mandatory Portuguese language course- 2 sessions per week
August 1, Arrive in Brazil, Begin Portuguese Immersion program
Early September- Semester begins and so does the work!
Late December/early January- Return home
