The CIBER Research Institute has the following academic conferences scheduled:

EMAC Conference
The European Marketing Academy (EMAC) is a professional society for people involved in marketing theory and research. It aims to promote an international exchange of research results and research ideas. EMAC organizes an Annual Conference which provides such a forum. At the conference, research projects in various stages of development and covering all major areas of marketing research are presented and discussed.

European Applied Business Research Conference
The 2005 European Applied Business Research Conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Athens, Greece. Come to present papers on economics, business, or business-related fields. A paper presentation is not required for attendance. The conference provides a forum for faculty to present their research on any business, economics, or business related topic. For both conferences, there is a best paper award for the best paper in each session. Papers winning the best paper award will be reviewed for possible publication in one of our five academic journals. Papers not winning a best paper award may be submitted for possible publication.

European Conference on Organizational Knowledge, Learning, and Capabilities
The department of Management at the University of Innsbruck invites participants and contributors to the European Conference on organization, knowledge, learning and capabilities in Innsbruck Austria. The last conference was held April 2-3 2004 and the aim was to continue the success of the previous conferences, held in Athens in 2002 and Barcelona in 2003, in encouraging critical debate around the various perspectives on knowledge in organizations.

Free Trade in the Western Hemisphere: The Challenges and The Future

ICSB World Conference
The 50th World Conference of the International Council for Small Business is being held in June 2005 in Washington DC. The International Council for Small Business founded in 1955 is the oldest and largest global membership organization dedicated to examining and discussing issues affecting the teaching, research, and delivery of entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprise world-wide. Collectively, the over 2,000 members of the ICSB through their eleven national affiliates work and assist tens of thousands of individuals currently in business or desiring to start a business relatively soon.
The conference organizers anticipate approximately 500-700 of the leading teachers, researchers, policy-makers and practitioners interested in entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprise attending this conference. It will include individuals from around the world including Europe, Brazil, Japan, Republic of China, Singapore, Korea, Southern Africa, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Puerto Rico/Caribbean, and the United States.

International Business and Economics Conference
IBEC is annually organized by a group of volunteer business and economics faculty members at St. Norbert College. Each IBEC is chaired by a different person who is supported by a small group of fellow faculty members.
"The goal of IBEC is to foster intellectual discussions and disseminations on topics related to international business and economics, with participation by researchers and practitioners across all disciplines. We are neither solely a business nor an economics conference, and we do not limit ourselves to discussions that pertain to managerial issues. International Business in Transition Economies

International Conference on Theory and Practice in Performance Measurement
The Performance Measurement Association is a global network for those interested in the theory and practice of performance measurement and management. International Forum on the Science, Techniques, and Art applied to Marketing
This Forum is an annual meeting point for academics and professionals related to marketing activities. It is also open to all those researchers in any area of knowledge who through their work and contributions can favor the development and the advancement of marketing as a science and as a technique or as an art.

International Management Development Association World Business Congress
IMDA organizes annual World Business Congress in different parts of the world. The conferences are usually held in June or July.
The 14th annual World Business Congress is being held at the Euro-Arab Management School in Granada, Spain. The theme is: Global Business: The Challenges and Responsibilities In A World of Shifting Alliances.
Business people, public policy makers, and academics can choose from a wide range of topics within global business development. The Congress will offer keynote addresses, formal paper symposia, case study presentations, special sessions, such as "Meet the Editors," and an industry leadership and public policy makers panel discussions as well as a Doctoral Research Seminar. Organizational Knowledge, Learning, and Capabilities Conference
The aim of OKLC will be to continue the success of the previous conferences in encouraging critical debate around the various perspectives on knowledge in organizations.

WDI/CEPR Annual International Conference on Transition Economics
This conference is organized by the William Davidson Institute (WDI) and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and hosted this year by the National Center for Social Sciences and Humanities of Vietnam (NCSSH) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
