Professional Readiness Program
As a complement to their rigorous academic preparation, business majors at UNIBusiness develop contemporary professional skills across four crucial areas. Today's global business environment demands a professional attitude, polished communication and presentations skills, excellent writing and reasoning skills, and organizational awareness. Graduates cannot expect career success simply by earning academic credits; they must be prepared to apply their essential business knowledge in a professional setting.
Business majors are required to complete two levels in the Professional Readiness Program. This assures employers recruiting at UNI that our students understand the basics of career management, team and meeting behaviors, professional image, and relationship management.
Students may complete two additional levels, mapping out a personal development program to meet the expectations of their own intended profession. Those who complete four levels earn a transcript notion as well as a Certificate of Completion from the College.
