Kevin Steere '69 Invest in UNIBusiness

The power of private support combined with UNIBusiness students' and faculty members' commitment to excellence gives students a head start in their careers and professional development.

The impact is evident by the high CPA and CFA exam pass rates of UNIBusiness students, trophies UNIBusiness student organizations earn at national conferences and countless accolades bestowed upon individual students and faculty.

The financial needs of the College continue to grow, and your gifts - large and small - provide many benefits, directly affecting students and faculty and indirectly affecting communities and the states along with businesses and organizations of all sizes.

Places to Give

Dean's Fund for Excellence
Gifts to the Dean's Fund for Excellence support students who are willing to invest time and effort building a professional edge that will be of immediate, marketable value upon graduation.

This general fund combines gifts of all sizes to respond quickly and effectively to students' needs and to leverage opportunities.

Each year this crucial fund supports:

  • Certification classes and development programs.
  • International studies and internships in more than 50 countries, with pre-approved semester abroad programs priced equal to or less than the cost of attending UNI.
  • Competitions, site visits and other career-specific learning opportunities.
  • Much, much more.

Scholarships & Awards
Scholarships provide relief from high tuition bills, allowing students to focus more time on their education and less time on making ends meet.

Students today pay more in tuition and receive less in financial support from the state than in the past. As state support for public education dwindles, your contributions to scholarships and awards that help pay tuition, books and living expenses become more important.

Program & Faculty Support
Endowments and donations allow the College to build and enhance programs that better equip UNIBusiness students for their careers. The Professional Readiness Program (PRP), for example, is an innovative, supplemental education experience for all UNIBusiness students. PRP provides professional skills training that complements business knowledge learned in the classroom.

Professorships and fellowships aid in the retention and recruitment of outstanding faculty members, who are likely to be students' biggest motivators and models.
