The IWRC can help you through regulatory paperwork and red tape. The IWRC helps small businesses meet environmental regulations and implement efficient waste reduction procedures.
Regional Business Center
Entrepreneurial development assistance is offered through four agencies of the Regional Business Center: The UNI Small Business Development Center, the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (JPEC)
Entrepreneurs, both students and others, find the services of the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center instrumental in helping them to develop and implement their businesses ideas. The Center strives to incubate new student businesses by providing both a low cost start-up location and technical assistance needed by any business.
Executive Development Center
Empowering a workforce through effective training and education is the goal of the Executive Development Center. UNI faculty members and experienced consultants provide the Center's training and development services. Recognizing the unique nature of each client organization, specialized programs are targeted to specific training and educational needs.
MBA Business Capstone Consulting
Through the MBA Business Capstone Consulting experience, teams of MBA students apply their expertise toward solving a problem facing a local business. A faculty mentor brings consulting expertise to the project and helps guide the team.
