UNIBusiness' academic programs and its external outreach division, Business and Community Services, are committed to supporting economic development and innovation throughout the state of Iowa.

Business and Community Services (BCS), the umbrella organization for economic development and technology transfer at UNI, puts businesses, entrepreneurs and communities in touch with University and other business resources. These innovative programs serve nearly 3,000 businesses and communities spanning all 99 Iowa counties each year. Plus, BCS reaches thousands more through its online small-business development community, MyEntre.net.

Through these efforts, the University cultivates an empowered, highly educated workforce and helps Iowa businesses and communities meet the challenges of a globally competitive business environment.
