UNI MBA Pella
UNIBusiness is exploring the potential for offering its MBA program as a cohort program in the town of Pella. We are currently seeking to determine the extent of interest from individuals in Pella and the surrounding communities.
The UNI MBA program is a rigorous program, recognized by Princeton Review as a "Best Business School MBA." Our campus program is composed of a diverse mix of students who have met our high admission standards. We fully expect that a cohort in Pella will exhibit similar qualities and commitment. The MBA faculty members, for its part, set high performance standards. The result will be a stimulating and challenging classroom environment where students learn from both faculty and peers, a generative blend critical to discovery at the highest levels.
Similar to our program in Hong Kong, the program will be delivered as an intensive executive-style program. Within that format, each course is taught over an 8 to 11 week time period, depending upon the need for pre-requisites. Unique to the Pella cohort, classes will be held on Friday evenings and Saturdays. Approximately 33 hours of face-to-face instruction would be provided over 3 weekends, with each weekend spaced at least 2 weeks apart. An additional 3-hour "start" session plus a 3 hour "final" session will also be held on a Saturday afternoon.
The intent is that the entire MBA program, with pre-requisites integrated into the program as needed, would be delivered within a 24-28 month time period. Over the 2-year period, an additional four to five sessions will be held on the UNI campus, 2 of which will be held on Saturdays.
Classes will be scheduled well in advance to provide students, assumed to be full-time working professionals, schedule visibility and to aid personal planning. Preview the example schedule to preview how a 12 month schedule may look. (Once a cohort is confirmed, a final schedule will be developed by the end of May, 2012.)
