Internship in China
Spend six to 12 months interning with one of the 4,000 companies in the Dalian Free Trade Zone (DFTZ) in Dalian, China. In addition to practical experience in a new work environment, interns get a detailed picture of the day-to-day professional and personal lives of Chinese business men and women.

Preference given to UNIBusiness seniors and new graduates.

Work at the Schneider Electric headquartered in Mexico City and also spend time in one of 11 facilities throughout Mexico. Internships may lead to career employment with this global electric equipment manufacturer.

Applicants must have

• completed a minimum of 90 credit hours.
• a good command of the Spanish language.
• declared a major in Finance, Human Resources Management, Management, Marketing or Supply Chain and Operations Management.

The Institute for International Education in Mexico City hires students for six-month internships to advise Mexican students seeking entry into a U.S. university.

Applicants must have

• completed a minimum of 75 credit hours.
• a good command of the Spanish language.

Spend two weeks to a semester assisting in the Nueva Vida Fair Trade Zone, the world's only fair trade zone instituted by a cooperative management group. Interns with marketing and webpage design experience can help expand the influence of this women's coop near Matagalpa, Nicaragua, with marketing and strategic planning assistance.

Applicants must have

• completed the business core.
• a good command of the Spanish language.

Spend a summer or a semester teaching in the Siares Community in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Interns may teach the English language to adults at the local school, teach basic business skills to young adults and/or work on environmental projects with the local school.

UNI MBA students can earn up to 6 credit hours during the Business and Economics Summer Term (BEST) at the Mercator School of Management of Duisburg-Essen University in Duisburg, Germany.

BEST offers a variety of courses in business, economics and the German language, with special emphasis on the European economic environment. The BEST experience also includes field trips and company visits to the industrial and cultural attractions of Duisburg along with a weekend excursion to Berlin.

The four-week program typically is offered in June.

Students with German language proficiency can participate in a short-term internship after the program's completion.
