The UNI Department of Accounting challenges students to become leaders in the accounting profession. That expectation of excellence is most visible in the students' consistent ranking among the nation's top universities in passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.

The Department's training and practical experience opportunities, such as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, prepare students for employment in public accounting, the corporate community and in government. Consider how you can put an Accounting Major to use in a satisfying career. Increased professional expertise is also offered with the Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree.
