Nine UNI accounting alumni who are partners at PricewaterhouseCoopers established a long-lasting sign of appreciation for the UNIBusiness educators who influenced them by creating the PricewaterhouseCoopers Endowed Professorship in Accounting. These partner alumni are located across the U.S. and overseas: Steve Anderson, Washington, D.C.; Jeff Bjustrom, Minneapolis; Mike Brandmeyer, Los Angeles; Jill Hemphill, New York City; Dave Schroeder, Rosemount, Minn.; Pete Schlicksup, Tokyo; Tim Throndson, Raleigh, N.C.; Ellen Valde, Minneapolis; and Ken Wise, Bratislava, Slovakia.

Christine Bauman, associate professor of accounting, was named the first PricewaterhouseCoopers Professor of Accounting in 2010 in recognition of her outstanding scholarship, teaching and service to the profession.
