Professional Accomplishments

Rex Karsten's research interests include information systems pedagogy, information and communications technology literacy, computer self-efficacy and information systems professional-end user interaction and training. He has eleven articles in refereed journals and twenty-two papers in refereed proceedings. His work has been included in The Journal of Decision Systems, Advances in Taxation, Academy of Educational Leadership Journal, and Journal of Research on Computing Education, to name a few. Professor Karsten was chosen for the 2009 CBA Faculty Service Award for his significant contributions to the College.  Before beginning his Ph.D. program, Professor Karsten was director of admissions, placement, and cooperative education at Laramie County Community College, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
