Professional Accomplishments
Professor Isakson joined the UNI faculty in 1990. Prior to joining UNI, he was a professor at The University of Texas at Arlington, Washington State University, and The University of Georgia. He has a long record of publications including articles published in Regional Science and Urban Economics, Land Economics, Energy Economics, Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Real Estate Finance, Journal of Marketing Research, and others. He has been recognized as one of the top researchers in the area of real estate in the Journal of Real Estate Research and the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Journal. He has been called upon as an expert witness in the area of real estate appraisal and finance. He also acts as a paid consultant in the area of economics to a nationally known testing service.
