Professional Accomplishments

Karthik Iyer specializes in supply chain strategies, interfirm relationships, strategic alliances, supply chain IT, and organizational learning. He has published in marketing and management journals including, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Transportation Journal, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Information & Management, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. His research projects have been awarded Summer Fellowships in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2013. Dr. Iyer won the 2010 University Book & Supply Outstanding Junior Faculty award. He has been a reviewer for the European Journal of Marketing, Transportation Research part E: Logistics & Transportation Review, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Business Logistics, and various conferences including the American Marketing Association (AMA). As a doctoral candidate, Dr. Iyer was a Fellow at the national AMA Doctoral Consortium. He is a professional member of the AMA, the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and has been the advisor for the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
