AAF-UNI members take home five awards from regional ADDY competition
With a record number of student entries in the annual American Advertising Federation (AAF) Cedar Valley ADDY Awards competition this year, AAF-UNI members took home five awards from the Feb. 21 ceremony.
"Without the passion, drive, and teamwork of the more than 30 members involved on the winning projects, we would not have been able to achieve this much success," said senior Jordan McNamara (Marketing), current AAF-UNI president.
Many of the winning pieces were developed for the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) as part of marketing instructor Matthew Wilson‘s Advertising Campaign Development class.
The winning projects included:

"UNI should be proud of what our students are able to accomplish," remarked McNamara. "The mission of the ADDYs is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. All of the respective departments (Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Art, Sociology and Graphic Technologies) of the students who entered should be honored."
