The UNIBusiness-John Deere Supply Chain Forum is an industry-academic partnership, designed to give supply chain professionals and UNI faculty and students an opportunity to join together to share industry best practices and network, while showcasing the talent within the UNI Supply Chain and Operations Management program.

Keynote speakers:

Bill Hurles

Hurles is the executive director of supply chain at General Motors and leads GM‘s Global Supply Chain Operations of 75 assembly plants and 92 component/stamping/powertrain plants. His key responsibilities include; scheduling, capacity & risk management, program launch, critical supply issue resolution, supply chain optimization and global assembly warehousing. Prior to Hurles‘ current position, he held various leadership positions in engineering and manufacturing and worked at multiple GM locations.

Peter Hertenstein 

Hertenstein is a Ph.D. candidate in Development Studies at the Unviersity of Cambridge (U.K.) and has studied the catch-up strategies and challenges of emerging market multinational enterprises in the automative industry. 

Lunch Presentation: UNI Supply Chain Management Association Operation Stimulus Competition Team

Presentation by six student members of UNI's Supply Chain Management Association who will compete in the Denver Transportation Clubs annual Operation Stimulus Case Competition in January.

Team members are: Eric Baumann (Management), Jared Connerley (Management and MIS), Mitch Nunnihkoven (Management), Chris Pollpeter (Management), Brandon Schiltz (Management) and Zachery Thein (Management).
