UNI's College of Business Administration was recognized in The Princeton Review's 2017 edition of "The Best 294 Business Schools" (Penguin Random House/Princeton Review, published October 6, 2016) for the eleventh consecutive year. This award is voted on by students who are asked to rate their schools on several topics and experiences.

"It is gratifying to again receive this honor from The Princeton Review, particularly their recognition of our teamwork and collaboration in and out of the classroom. We push ourselves to provide real-world business experiences so that our students can succeed after college and throughout their careers," said Leslie Wilson, dean of UNI's College of Business Administration.

"The Best 294 Business Schools" focusses on each school's commitment to academics, student life, career and placement. As in years past, UNI was recognized for its successful MBA program. According to Robert Franek, Princeton Review Senior VP-Publisher, "We recommend the University of Northern Iowa as one of the best to earn an MBA. We chose the 294 schools in this book based on our high regard for their academics and our assessment of institutional data we collect from the schools. We also solicited and greatly respect the opinions of 25,000 students attending these schools who reported on their experiences at their schools on our 80-question student survey for the book."

A second-year MBA student told The Princeton Review they were impressed with the administration at UNI. "The amount of administrative support is amazing relative to the number of students. Turnaround on questions is very fast and the administration can support an advising need in short-notice."

In addition to this recognition, the UNI College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB International, is among the The Military Times' Best for Vets: Business Schools and has earned a U.S. News & World Report's best part-time MBA ranking.
