Dr. Dale Cyphert, Director
Dale Cyphert joined the UNIBusiness faculty in 1997 with responsibility for developing a business communication program. Cyphert's research focuses on the development of communication norms, with a special interest in the rhetorical methods of small business communities. Her work has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Speech, Communication Education, and the Journal of Business Communication.

Tom Cummings,
Manager, World Wide Demand Planning, John Deere Power Systems (retired); Instructor of Marketing and Facilitator Levels I, II
Cummings has joined the UNI faculty after 33 years of diversified industry
experience with John Deere that included experience in Division Sales
Management, Worldwide Demand Planning and Order Forecast Management,
Marketing Management, External Regional Sales Management, Internal Sales
Account Management, New Product Development Engineering, Capital Budgeting
Management, Manufacturing Engineering, and Materials Engineering.

Cynthia Goro President, The Worthington Partnership, LLC; Facilitator, Levels I, II
Prior to her position at The Worthington Partnership, Cynthia Goro was
President of Wayne Engineering Corporation. She joined the family-owned
manufacturer in 1983 as Controller, assuming the role of President in 1988.
Goro received the 1996 Working Woman of the Year Award from the Cedar
Falls Chamber of Commerce and was the 1997 recipient of Ernst & Young's
Iowa/Nebraska Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Turnaround Category.

Martin Hansen, Inside Sales Manager, Martin Brothers; Facilitator, Levels I, II
In addition to his corporate experience, Hansen was the entrepreneurial owner of Indulgence, a unique bottle shop and wine bar in downtown Cedar Falls. Prior to that Hansen held managerial and operations positions in the corporate retail and financial services arenas. He was Vice President of
Consumer Services and Vice President of Marketing for six years with GE
Capital Mortgage Services, moving in 1996 to GMAC Mortgage Corporation as
Vice President Loyalty Programs, Group Vice President Personal Financial
Services, and then Senior Vice President Homeownership Services. Mr. Hansen
has also served as a Sales and Marketing Consultant to the New York Life
Company, Countrywide Home Lending, Courtesy Home Services, Dramatic
Performance, Inc., and GMAC Mortgage Corporation.

Dr. Ronelle Langley Coordinator, Levels III, IV
Coming to the program with more than 15 years experience as an executive coach, Dr. Langley has worked with hundreds of professionals and executives representing a variety of industries in global, national, and local companies. She productively balances her activities as a university administrator, professor, scientist, author, and practicing psychologist. Her efforts have earned her the President's Medal of the Human Sciences Research Council for significant contributions to the Career Development field.
