UNIBusiness students are hard working and knowledgeable, but further growth is necessary. Our students must add the professional polish, confidence and assertiveness that will allow them to "hit the ground running" on their first jobs. Our innovative Professional Readiness Program (PRP) provides that professional maturity prior to graduation.

The PRP adds contemporary professional skills to the
traditional work values and
essential business knowledge
our graduates have long offered. Our graduates must exhibit the professional confidence gained from understanding working life and mastering fundamental skills needed for career success. The PRP allows students to develop this crucial professional advantage.

Level I and II
consist of fifteen weekly meetings and activities. Alumni lead "Open Your Eyes" meetings, explaining on-the-job life and offering career guidance. Professional trainers lead "Roll Up Your Sleeves" meetings to strengthen concrete skills, such as interviewing, presentations, and memo writing.

Level III and IV
includes workships, meetings, and activities. Students choose those sessions that suit their needs thus enabling them to correct weaknesses and polish strengths prior to graduation. All students are required a minimum of two levels.

Students often are uncertain about their readiness for the working world.
The PRP program addresses those uncertainties by adding the professional skills and personal assurance that will distinguish our graduates from less seasoned competitors. Students who immerse themselves in the PRP will bring to the job the personal confidence and poise that accompany effective training. Those students will be prepared to work immediately without need for further costly professional grooming.

The PRP allows students to apply their academic work within a professional context. Each level appears as a course on the student transcript and a transcript designation for students who complete all four levels. The unique reward lies in job-ready personal and professional growth.
