Janet Black

Professional Accomplishments:
Janet Black was an experienced partner in the Merger and Acquisition (M&A) practice. In this capacity, she lead integrations, divestitures and specialized in finance and accounting. Janet was a leader in Deloitte’s Energy, Resources, and Industrials practice and has over 25 years of work experience in working closely with many of the largest clients in the industry.

Her experience includes all aspects of managing large integration and divestiture programs, including: accounting and finance process integration, internal audit integration, Transition Service Agreement (TSA) requirements, accounting ERP requirements, accounting IT testing requirements and internal and external reporting requirements. She spent fifteen years at Deloitte. Prior to Deloitte, Janet served as Senior Director of Integration Services focused on strategic development of a Fortune 25 company. She is based in Houston and has served Deloitte’s clients involved in transactions ranging from $10M to $65B globally.

Education:
Janet received her BA in Accounting from University of Northern Iowa and is a registered CPA.
