Jennifer Trent

Jennifer Trent is program manager at the Iowa Waste Reduction Center, working with clients across Iowa and the Upper Midwest to reduce organic waste headed to the landfill by implementing sustainable alternatives. She has interest in composting and the many instances where it benefits more than just soil and water quality.

Trent works with students and offers them an array of opportunities to gain experience in the environmental field and marketing and communications. Her goal is to prepare students for life after graduation.

Hobbies & Interests

In her free time, Trent enjoys mountain hiking, city exploring, traveling, sampling craft beers and collecting cool rocks.
