Education

Tim earned a B.S., Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.
 

Professional Accomplishments

Tim has nearly 30 years of experience in helping multinational companies with complex tax, business, and accounting issues. He has developed and implemented global tax strategies and unique tax planning arrangements for several global organizations. He regularly leads client and PricewaterhouseCoopers professionals on complex tax engagements.

In September 2012, Tim was assigned to lead the Lake Erie Market (Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Buffalo, NY, and Rochester, NY) tax practice, where his client work is generally focused on publicly-traded companies.

Tim previously served as the Global Tax Partner for PwC Consulting, where he was responsible for structuring the global organization, building the tax infrastructure for the newly-formed company, running the worldwide tax affairs of PwC Consulting, and advising on the initial public offering and ultimate divestiture. He has also served as the Raleigh Office Managing Partner.

Tim has authored articles for national publication in The Tax Adviser, The Journal of International Human Resources, The Journal of International Taxation, and BNA Tax Daily. He is a contributing author for U.S. Taxation of Foreign Corporations and Their Affiliates published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.  He is licensed to practice in North Carolina.
