Zach Hanood

Zach Hanood brings a diverse background spanning military service, collegiate athletics, and higher education philanthropy. Prior to enrolling at the University of Northern Iowa, and throughout his time on campus, he served in the Iowa Army National Guard as an Infantry Mortarman, completing his service with an honorable discharge.

Following graduation from UNI, he spent more than eight years in collegiate athletics with two national third‑party ticket sales organizations—The Aspire Group and Learfield Amplify. Beginning his career as a ticket sales representative, he advanced to General Manager of Ticket Sales, working in partnership with major institutions and organizations including the University of Kansas, Western Kentucky University, the NCAA, the Big Ten, UFC, and Kansas State University.

In 2022, he joined the Kansas State University Foundation on the University‑Wide Development team. In 2025, he were promoted to Senior Development Officer for the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering, where he works closely with K‑State Engineering alumni to support philanthropic priorities and help donors create meaningful, lasting impact in the areas most important to them.
