Daniel Lynch
Assistant Professor of Practice
Daniel Lynch is senior vice president of commercial lending and Cedar Falls market manager for First Bank. He has more than 35 years of banking experience, which he has brought to his classroom since teaching at UNI since fall 2015. Lynch is a Panther through and through, earning his undergraduate and master’s degrees at UNI.
Lynch is a big believer in hands-on applications, so each of his classes are problem-based. He strives to bring an open mind, a positive attitude and high expectations to each of his courses.
Hobbies & Interests
Lynch has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 35 years. They have two children. In his free time, Lynch enjoys traveling, supporting Panther athletics, spending time with friends and family, and good craft beer.
