The MBA Program is accredited by AACSB International, the gold standard of business school accreditation and a distinction earned by fewer than 5 percent of business schools worldwide. Choosing an accredited program provides a reliable, objective measure of quality that is recognized by employers and academic institutions around the globe.

A Great Education

The UNI MBA program is designed for working professionals who are looking for a relevant education, professional connections and convenient schedule at a reasonable price.

Our small class sizes, outstanding facilities and world-class faculty offer all the benefits of a private institution without the inflated costs.

Coursework features cases, computer simulations and client projects to ensure you can apply classroom concepts in practice. A project with a regional business or non-profit organization concludes the program.

On A Professional's Schedule

The UNI Home Town MBA was designed to serve professionals in the communities of Marion, Cerro Gordo, Webster Counties, Iowa. The program offers a unique advantage for Iowa business professionals who want to be face-to-face with their classmates and instructors but don't have an affordable, accredited program in their own backyard. Each cohort of local professionals completes the MBA degree in about two years, and we return to a community every five to six years, depending on enrollment.

Courses are taught sequentially in an executive-style weekend format. Each course takes about 8 weeks to complete, with on-site classes held every other weekend on Friday evening (5:30 - 9:00, supper included) and Saturday (9:00 - 5:00, breakfast and lunch included). Class schedules are provided for the entire program, allowing plenty of lead time to coordinate work, family and academic obligations. Worried about a professional transfer? We can help plan your MBA program to accommodate your career path.
