Nick Bailey

Associate Professor

Nick Bailey is a faculty member who conducts research and teaching in the areas of strategic and international management. His scholarly work has been published in prestigious journals such as International Business Review, Journal of International Management, Journal of International Business Policy and Long Range Planning. He previously taught at Utah Valley University, University of North Carolina Charlotte and University of South Carolina.

Nick’s classes are discussion-based and focus heavily on soft-skill development. He encourages students to think beyond getting the best grade in class and learn how to understand, analyze and “cope with the ever-increasing complexity of thought that comes with maturity” (from Olaf in “Frozen 2”).

Hobbies & Interests
Nick loves to golf, ride his bike and play pickleball. His music of choice? Anything rock and pop from the pre-1990s — with some exceptions, of course.
