Teaching programming via the Web.
Roberta Roth's research focuses on teaching programming via the web. She has approximately ten publications in refereed journals such as Journal of Informing Sciences, Journal of Research on Computing in Education, Journal of Management Education, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. Professor Roth also has eight papers in refereed conference proceedings. In addition, Roth has co-authored with Dennis and Wixom the widely used textbook Systems Analysis & Design, including development of the textbook ancillaries as well as numerous instructors' manuals for textbooks on various information systems topics. Roth received the CBA Alumni Recognition Award for Innovation in Teaching in 1998, the University Book and Supply Teaching Award for Untenured Faculty in 1995 and was recognized as “honored faculty” at the Student Alumni Ambassadors Apple Polisher event in 1995 and 1997.
