UNIBusiness alumna promoted
Todd J. Lisle, BKD, LLP managing partner, announces the promotion of Nancy Foringer (Marketing '82) to Managing Director. Nancy assumes her new role beginning June 1st, which marks 10 years since the creation of BKD's Oklahoma City office upon its merger with Lisle's local firm where Nancy had worked since 2002.
Nancy, a member of BKD National Financial Services Group and the firm's Forensics & Valuation Services team, has more than 20 years of experience providing business valuation services for financial reporting, estate and gift tax purposes, stock transactions, stock-based compensation, family-limited partnerships, employee stock ownership plans and succession planning.
Her industry experience includes financial institutions, restaurants, health care, technology, manufacturing and distribution. She also is an internal valuation specialist for attest clients and consults on valuation issues related to financial reporting.
Before joining BKD in 2002, Nancy was vice president at a national leader in the middle-market mergers and acquisitions industry, where she was involved with the valuation and marketing of a variety of businesses. Prior to that, she was a marketing assistant at an international accounting firm.
Nancy is a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and an accredited senior appraiser in business valuation with a designation in intangible asset valuation (ASA-BV/IA). She was president of the ASA Oklahoma chapter and has served in various capacities with ASA International. Nancy is vice president of marketing on the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma Board of Directors.
