Tim Huber

Professional Accomplishments:
Tim has a long history with MercyOne in accounting and finance operations. Joining what was then Covenant Medical Center, Tim’s expertise has moved him from his start as a reimbursement accounting, to CFO of Covenant Health Systems/Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Financial Support System Leader, Covenant Health Systems, Director of Financial Services and Controller, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, and now Vice President of Finance, MercyOne. He has substantial expertise in healthcare finance and addressing the challenges of ownership transitions.

Prior to joining Covenant Medical Center, Tim was a senior auditor at Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Tim shares his expertise in various professional and community affiliations including the Iowa Chapter of Healthcare Finance Management Association, Board Member of People’s Community Health Clinic, and the Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation.

Education:
Tim earned his MBA from the University of Northern Iowa and his Bachelor in Accounting from Upper Iowa University.
