Professional Accomplishments:
Joyce Pingel is a retired Chief Information Officer (CIO) and President of a tech start-up consulting company. She has also served as a graduate-level adjunct professor, a lifelong STEM advocate, and a relentless volunteer for her community. She has been recognized for her innovation as a female industry leader.
Joyce spent 25+ years in senior-level roles in multiple industries. She worked domestically and globally, building award-winning teams and overseeing multi-year strategic projects, helping her organizations reach record levels of success and making their dreams come true, through technology enablement and digital transformation.
Joyce is an active volunteer with United Way and STEM activities and serves on the Wilson College's Executive Advisory Board at the University of Northern Iowa. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has earned additional professional certificates in executive leadership, strategic decision-making, design-thinking, and innovation from London Business School, Yale, Cornell, and MIT.
Education:
Joyce received her BA in Management Information Systems from the University of Northern. She furthered her education at Drake University where she earned an MBA.
