Preparing for Registration

The schedule for Winter and Spring 2023 courses is tentatively set to be released by the Registrar's Office on October 17th. This is also when your Enrollment Appointment (the date and time when you can register for winter/spring classes) will be assigned to you. You can view your assigned registration time through your myUNIverse account in your Student Center. 

When registration starts, we will be taking walk-in appointments in the Office for Professional Distinction to support your questions and assist you with the registration process! We are located in CBB Room 5 or via our Zoom link:

Walk-in appointments will be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. 

We will be seeing students in order of assigned priority registration (schedule below). When your registration date/time has started, please feel free to stop by if you need help or have any questions related to registration. Walk-in appointments are reserved for registration-related questions only - study abroad or plan of study questions can be addressed through a regularly scheduled advising appointment. These can be scheduled year-round at our front desk in CBB 5 or by calling: 319-273-2144. 

Registration date/times are assigned by the Registrar's Office. The dates of priority registration: 

  • Monday, October 31st: Seniors 
  • Wednesday, November 2nd: Juniors 
  • Monday, November 7th: Sophomores 
  • Friday, November 11th: Freshman 

Our business minors will register for business classes after you (our business majors) have registered for classes at your assigned time - so you get the first pick of classes! :) 

Also, a new change is coming down the pike. Winter classes will be charged separately and will not be combined with spring semester classes in regards to tuition charges.
