If you have a passion for teaching and are looking to mold tomorrow's business leaders, the Business Teaching program at the University of Northern Iowa College of Business will get you started.

A degree in Business Teaching will prepare you for success in the classroom by giving you the experience to teach introductory and general business classes to middle school, secondary, and post-secondary students.

Faculty in the College of Education and the College of Business Administration will work together to teach you how to help students understand economic principles and their relation to business problems. In addition, our Business Teaching program will also assist you in becoming certified in accounting and give you a solid understanding of information technology, business law, and other business subjects.

Our Business Teaching program will provide you with the skills you need to develop educational materials and media for the business classroom as well as demonstrate personal and professional characteristics for successful employment in many educational settings. Classes such as Decision Analytics and Communication and Financial Literacy in Business will supply you with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
