Robert P. and Margaret C. Bradford Chair in International Business

In December 2014, Robert and Margaret Bradford gave a gift to UNIBusiness to establish the Robert P. and Margaret C. Bradford Chair in International Business.

The holder of the Robert P. and Margaret C. Bradford Chair in International Business will be devoted to enhancing UNI's global presence, creating new international internships for our students, enlarging our network of partners around the world, and infusing international content into our curriculum at home. Robert Bradford, managing partner of Bradford & Associates, is a pioneering entrepreneur who turned a small local firm into a thriving global business. Margaret Bradford is a painter, musician and world traveler with a Ph.D. in archaeology.

In addition to participating in numerous business and community boards and activities, Robert Bradford has served on the UNIBusiness Executive Advisory Board since 1997 and on the UNI Research Foundation Board since 2001. The Bradfords are both members of the UNI Foundation President's Club and have long supported the College and UNI's music, arts and athletics programs.

Farzad Moussavi

For 14 years, until August 1, 2015, Moussavi served as the dean of UNIBusiness. During his leadership period, the College made significant progress in: securing alternative sources of funding, enhancing its international presence, raising its research profile while maintaining its teaching edge, and contributing to economic vitality in Iowa.

Dr. Moussavi's areas of specialization within the field of management are organizational analysis and managerial cognition. He has published widely in selective academic journals and presented to academic and professional audiences worldwide. He serves as advisor to academic institutions that aspire to the highest standards of global business education and regularly conducts training seminars for both business professionals and academic administrators.

As Bradford Chair, he is to launch new, innovative and impactful educational programs that enhance global engagement of our students and faculty. Moussavi is also in charge of the College's international programs. In that capacity he oversees the College's efforts to internationalize student and faculty experiences.
