Admission to UNI MAcc program requires an application to the graduate college and communication with the department of accounting.

To be considered for the program, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and submit your application, official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities, official Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores and official TOEFL scores for non-English-speaking students.

GMAT Test Score

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is offered on a continuous basis by appointment at each of approximately 400 computer-based testing centers throughout North America. A minimum score of 500 and a verbal score in the 40th percentile or higher is required for admission into the UNI MAcc program.

Undergraduate GPA & Coursework

A cumulative grade point average of B- or better on all upper division (junior/senior) accounting courses from previous institutions is required. Completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting or satisfactory completion of Intermediate Accounting I (ACCT 3120), Intermediate Accounting II (ACCT 3122), Cost Accounting (ACCT 3130), Income Tax (ACCT 4150), Auditing (ACCT 4160) and Accounting Information Systems (ACCT 3140) is also required.



Minimum Admission Score

A minimum admission score of 1150 is required. This is computed by multiplying your undergraduate GPA by 200 and adding your GMAT score.



TOEFL Test Scores (non-English speaking students)

If English is your second language, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam. The TOEFL exam can be taken at UNI, and more information can be found here.
