Beyond the Classroom
American Advertising Federation
AAF + UNI's mission is to build a vibrant and engaged community of students who are passionate about advertising. One way in which they accomplish this is through real-client projects. Each year the AAF + UNI partners with a major corporate client to create an integrated marketing campaign for the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). Clients have included Pizza Hut, Snapple and Ocean Spray. Students in over 200 chapters nationwide receive a case study in September outlining the sponsoring company’s campaign objectives, the history of the product and their current advertising situation. Students must research the product and its competition, identify potential problem areas and collaborate to devise a completely integrated marketing campaign for the client. AAF + UNI took 3rd place at the NSAC in 2015.
