Global Skills: Costa Rica (Winter)
Students will have a hands-on learning experience designed to increase their understanding of another cultural and economic environment different from their own. Through a variety of assignments and site visits, students will gain an invaluable introduction to Costa Rica, their history and geography, as well as current cultural, business, and economic practices.
Visits will include a trip to the Starbucks coffee plantation, the Poas Volcano, natural hot springs, and national parks where students may see animals including monkeys, sloths, iguanas, frogs/lizards, birds and many others. Activities include white water rafting, beach activities, and much more! Students will get to try a variety of fruits and other local foods.
