Information Technology (IT)
Information Technology (IT) provides computer support for University systems including the Wilson College of Business. Examples of these systems include, the University Student Information System (SIS), e-mail, passwords, Google Calendar, and E-Business.
Service Hub
servicehub.uni.edu is the best way to ask any technology question or request service. IT staff will respond to and route Service Hub requests to the relevant teams for support. The IT Service Desk (https://it.uni.edu/service-desk) provides both university and personal device support. It is located in ITTC 36 and can be reached by phone at 319-273-5555. If you cannot log in to servicehub.uni.edu, please email servicehub@uni.edu instead.
Software Resources
Wilson College provides general computer productivity software and applications installed in the labs and classrooms, as well as business applications only found in CBB labs.
Faculty and students are able to purchase Microsoft software products for a discounted rate through the University's software agreement with Microsoft. This is a great opportunity to get the latest Microsoft software at a reduced price. Here is a list of the software available. It can be purchased from the IT Service Desk (https://it.uni.edu/service-desk), located in Room 36 of the ITTC Building.

Equipment Checkout
The University has a limited number of notebook computers available for short-term checkout by UNI students. Please check with Rod Library about Central Checkout Laptops. For more information on checking out equipment, visit the Rod Library website.
Wireless Connectivity
Wireless access is available to students throughout the various study lounges in the CBB, allowing for students to stay connected and be productive while on campus. To gain access to the wireless network here on campus. UNI uses eduroam, which is the university standard wireless network for students, faculty, and staff. eduroam is a secure, world-wide wireless access service available at hundreds of universities, colleges, and research institutions. By connecting to eduroam here at UNI, your mobile device will be able to connect seamlessly at any of these other eduroam institutions.
